The goals of Philip Project are achieved by three forms of ‘relational’ learning and discipling:

AN OVERVIEW

  1. Training Days

Held on the last Saturday of each month in Central London.

    These cover subjects such as:

    • Understanding the Bible and the Bible story
    • Preparing messages and Bible studies
    • Culture, worldviews and Islam
    • Grace and integrity

These are led by experienced teachers. There are also opportunities for students to present brief Bible talks which are then evaluated by the class. Faithfulness to the biblical text and the student’s home context are encouraged.

  2. One to One Discipleship:

Each student meets regularly with a mentor who encourages his/her Christian walk and gives opportunity for practising Bible handling skills.

  3. Yearly Weekend Away

In June with an invited speaker and opportunities for evaluating Bible handling skills and fellowship.

THE PROGRAMME

The syllabus is a rolling programme. This means you can join the class for one year (this is especially suitable for students who are in the UK for one year) or for two years. If you enrol for a year you cover only half the material but if you stay on for the two years you cover the entire syllabus. The classes start in September.
